I am really pleased to share that I am back showing at Derbyshire Open Arts this coming Spring Bank Holiday Weekend. Commencing this coming Saturday, 24th May through to Monday 26th May I will be at Peak Vision Arts, 89 Market Street, Chapel – en – le Frith, Derbyshire. I am very honoured to be showing with Peak Vision at their guest artist. So kind of them to invite me. It will be really good to be out chatting to people about my art again. Particularly so as I have been at home for several months recovering from surgery.

New work for the show
While I have been out of the studio I have been working on a new collection of Abstract work. This is not available on my website as yet. But much of the new collection will be available to view at Peak Vision Art. Here is a ‘sneak peak’ of one of the new pieces.

‘Serendipidy’ 50 x 50cm oil and acrylic on gallery wrap canvas £400 at show
This piece has an initial layer of pink acrylic paint. Then some dark green acrylic painted on and then sprayed with water to give interesting marks. Then there are further layers of oil paint over parts of the canvas.
Derbyshire Landscapes on sale
Many of my Derbyshire Landscapes are on sale at present on this website and I will be bringing a selection of these with me, this is the biggest one that I have available. A painting that many people have admired when they see it in the studio. Maybe it will find a new home next weekend?

‘Towards Birchvale’ Oil on Board 75cm x 40cm
